To Indiana she goes!

I know, I know...it's only my second post and there's been a ton of time in between. I told you I wasn't sure how much of a blogger I was going to become. Anyways, this weekend I'm in Indiana celebrating Danielle's graduation with her family and the millions of friends she has back home. We're a little too close to Kentucky for my comfort....but it's totally worth it. People are a lot of fun up here.

If any of you have future plans to surprise Danielle just make sure you're prepared for her to not act surprised. She just looked at me as I walked through the security door and pretended like it was no big deal. The only reason I knew she was excited was because she actually smiled for the next few hours, and wanted to snuggle up close to me on the air mattress in the basement. haha

I just love Danielle's family--they're so sweet and they just welcome me like I'm part of the family. We just have the best time and I really enjoy them. God has blessed me with more family than I can count!

Well I better get back to the party now and visit with all of Danielle's crazy family!

God bless and goodnight! I can't wait until our paths cross!

Welp, here it is!

Hello my little Blogger Followers,

I don't know how much of a blogger I'm going to be, but I figured this was a good way for family and friends to keep track of me and the life that God has so richly blessed me with. Hopefully I'll be able to draw a tiny picture of what is actually going on down here in good ol' Texas. I'll forewarn you now: sometimes I use a southern accent. Some of you may be proud and others (like Blake) will say, "Easy Tex."

I hope that no matter where you are or whatever it is you are doing, God is showing you, daily, the amazing and unbelievable things that He's doing for you in your life. Because let me tell you, daily He shows me.

Be prepared for stories involving lizards, crickets, the heat, German things like Schlitterbahn and Wurstfest and stories about lots and lots and lots of kids.

If you're following this then it must mean that you love me and of course that must mean that I love you. I miss you all, am praying that life is good for all of you, and can't wait until the Lord has our paths cross again!

Love,

HJ
